Dental practice management courses

Running a successful practice requires excellent management skills, and that’s where our Dental Practice Management Course comes in.

Overview

Course Benefits

Running a dental practice is challenging – a manager is expected to ensure that the business abides by ever-changing employment rules; that compliance requirements and GDC standards are met; and above all make sure that the entire dental team is happy and efficient.

From my experience as a legal consultant for dental practices, I have found that most practice managers have never undergone any training for the myriad of duties expected of them. I aim to improve this through training courses and study clubs so that problems can be shared and solutions sought.

Sunita Jordan

HR Specialist

I trained as a lawyer and started working at the British Dental Association in 2000, first as a legal advisor to dentists and finally as Head of Legal, After having my children, I worked for myself as legal consultant, providing bespoke advice to dentists around the country before investing in and managing a dental practice myself for 5 years. During that time I learned how easy it is to advise people what to do, but much harder to do it yourself!

I feel that training practice managers is so important – it not only empowers them but equips them to deal with the constant barrage of issues that crop up daily in a normal practice.
